Visage was recently recognized by The Startup Weekly as a Diverse & Inclusive Employer in 2021. The Startup Weekly presented the Diverse & Inclusive Employer award to companies that have demonstrated a commitment to creating and maintaining equitable workplaces.

Since the company’s  inception in 2015, Visage has purposefully mapped the company vision and ethos to ensure diversity and inclusion every step along the way.  Visage helps Talent Acquisition teams hire the best candidates faster, and offers a diversity sourcing focus to help companies pipeline their talent pool to include more diverse candidates. Visage ensures that it brings this focus to its own talent pool too. It is vital for the company’s prosperity in employee engagement, but also to ensure that unconscious bias is eliminated as the software is designed – more diversity within the company supports inclusive design within the product offering.

This year’s awards attracted many applications across company stages in the United States. The winners were selected by a panel of judges comprised of top executives, founders, investors, and industry experts. The companies were evaluated based on a combination of employee survey results, proprietary fact sheets, online and offline reviews, and industry recognition.

“It gives me great pride to see that our employees feel supported and recognize that we have created an inclusive environment. It’s safe to say that most companies want to hire the best, most talented people and it doesn’t matter their race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation or national origin. Putting that into practice is still harder than it should be, but when you know better you can do better. This award means that we are well on the way to doing better.” said Visage CEO Joss Leufrancois.

“This year’s award recipients have demonstrated what it takes to truly embrace workplace diversity across all aspects of their businesses. All the award recipients have placed utmost emphasis on human capital. The judging panel commend all the awardees,” said Peter Justin, Managing Editor of The Startup Weekly.
